Royal Enfield has updated its entire bike range to the BS IV emissions –following the guidelines of Supreme Court to ban the manufacture, sale and even registration of Bharat Stage 3 vehicles from 1st April 2017. Recently, RE has introduced its updated Royal Enfield Bullet 500 EFI line up which meets the BS IV emission norms. The motorcycle is updated with fuel injection system which was based on carburetor in previous model. Apart from that, the bike has received some cosmetic changes as well.
Changes: All You Need To Know
The updated Bullet 500 EFI has not brought any changes to its engines part as it is powered by the same four-stroke fuel injection engine that is 499 cc. However, the engine now produces maximum power rated at 27.2 bhp at 5250 rpm which is up from 26.1 bhp. The churning power of the bike is also up -41.3 Nm at 4000 rpm, from 40.9 Nm.

The new motorcycle has also tried to attract customers as the bike is offered in various lucrative and stylish color including Black, Forest Green, and Marsh Grey. Besides these, the suspension part is the same with telescopic 35 mm fork, twin gas-charged shocks, 280 mm front brake disc with a twin-piston caliper and 153 mm drum brake in rear wheel. Above all, the look and design of bike is same because the traditional and iconic giant has a huge fan-following.
